A quick update for our dear Smith Story Wine Cellars family and fans tonight before the busy holiday weekend ahead.
Tomorrow is #InternationalCabernetDay according to the internet. Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, Pickberry Vineyard, continues to impress cabernet and non-cabernet wine drinkers alike. Stock up for the upcoming Fall and Winter months, our 2017 won't release for another year. $68 a bottle/$60 for Storyteller wine club members! The photo on our HOME page is of the gorgeous Pickberry Vineyard, a stunning hillside on Sonoma Mountain.
Labor Day: Ali's running the tasting room in the Anderson Valley 11-4pm. Eric's overseeing our first Harvest 2019 pick! We are so thrilled with the quality of the fruit so far, this first pick is with our Knights Valley Sauvignon Blanc vineyard partner, we're expecting about five tons of luscious grapes!
Private Tastings at the Winery During Harvest: All tasting fees will be waived from September 1 through October 31 when you book directly through us via tastings@smithstorywines.com RIGHT ON! Please wear work-out-ish shoes and allow a good 60 minutes for your time with us. This time of year will allow you a true insider's peek at all the harvest behind the scenes.
