Good afternoon from a cozy rainy day in Healdsburg.
So I'm not going to "bury the lead" this time. I had a PET scan last week and results... ALL CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky me! Forever grateful for my Kaiser Oncology team of doctors and nurses and to so many of you for your encouragement and prayers. Onward!
2023 is going to be the very best year of my life, I have no doubt about it. A full calendar of new Smith Story wine releases, exciting US and travel abroad (Greece anyone?) and wine country events is nearly finalized and some even bigger ideas I've had in the works for a long time are also finally seeing the light of day. No looking back on these past gnarly three years...the next chapter will be titled "Achievement" written while Eric and I focus on what we were driven to accomplish from the very beginning.
So what's in my glass this week? Our new Smith Story Sparkling Brut! It's celebratory, luxurious and an absolutely stunning sparkling wine. Think of this 600 case production wine before you reach for the "factory made" champagnes and sparklings, you won't regret! All my love, Ali
