Aloha Friday

April 24, 2020

The authentic meaning of Aloha in Hawaii is one of compassion, sympathy, pity, mercy, kindness, peace, and love: a guideline for life. Living Aloha is the coordination of mind and heart within each person.

May 14, 2020 we celebrate our 7th Year Wedding Anniversary and year seven for Smith Story Wine Cellars.  Yesterday while delivering wine to a friend in Marin, kindness filled our hearts. Leah and her husband greeted us on their sun filled driveway with smiles and gave us the sweetest Hawaiian gifts and told us we were "Living Aloha".

7 Years ago, we eloped on a rainy afternoon on the Big Island of Hawaii and vowed to Live Aloha to each other forever.  True Story.

Yesterday morning I was planning on naming this email "The 7 Year Itch",  truth be told, we're only itchy from all the blooms and pollen in the air! Seven insanely challenging but delicious years, we've got this!

Since we have no idea when our tasting room (s) will be open and back in business, help us celebrate year 7 and we'll help you beat the summer heat together. We are concerned about the warm temperatures creating a damper on our online support, help us help you before wine shipping costs increase with summer weather.

WHEN: Today and for the next seven days, offer ends May 1 at 11:59pm.
WHAT: Order 6 bottles (or more) of our 2018 Smith Story Sauvignon Blanc
WHY:  Receive a celebratory discount of $7 a bottle (that's a $42 savings)
HOW: Use promo code "livealoha"

Also... if you live in the Bay Area, complimentary Porch Delivery is available! where did we tie-the-knot?  The Holualoa Inn, in the hills above the beaches of Kona.  The border of our wine label is a sketch of the traditional Hawaiian wedding lei! Pour yourself a glass of Smith Story, find a comfy seat and relax to the sounds of Hawaii with us.

Aloha Friday!
