California’s reopening seemed more upbeat for Alison Smith Story and her husband, Eric Story, when they began welcoming guests back to their Smith Story Wines tasting room in Philo, in Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley.
Big thanks to Dave McIntyre for his kind words and journalism about our first generation family winery that is doing great things! Link to full article here.

We are open in the Anderson Valley! Just in time for the latest CA shutdowns, we received our permit to use the courtyard area in front of our tasting room in the Anderson Valley. We are now able to host up to 16 guests at one time safely outside. We remain appt. only Monday-Saturday and walk-ins are welcome if we having open tables.
Reservations required to help us manage in real-time & maintain cleaning protocols for hosting. Day one was today, bonus is that we're both going to get our "steps in" each day! ha. We had a full patio full of good citizens and new fans of Smith Story Wines. Once the new Wickson Restaurant opens, we hope a small menu will be available of German pretzels and snacks to enjoy with your wine.
